Burnham Berrow and Ashburnham Golf Club added to prestigious Senior Open Qualifying venues for 2023

.Europe’s Senior Major Championship will return to Royal Porthcawl for the third time from July 6-9, 2023.

Hundreds of hopefuls had the opportunity to earn a place into Europe’s Senior Major Championship through regional qualifying and a fantastic line-up of competitors is expected for qualifying events. In July 2023 Alex Čejka won the Senior Open presented by Rolex at Royal Porthcawl in Wales on a blustery day.

The 2023 Senior Open Presented by Rolex where Alex Cejka secured a third Senior Major which returned to Royal Porthcawl following sell-out editions in 2014 and 2017. Due to unprecedented demand Ashburnham Golf Club has been added as a fourth UK Qualifying Venue, complementing courses at; Burnham Berrow, Hayling, and Lytham.

Europe’s only Senior Major Championship will return to Royal Porthcawl Golf Club for a third time. Burnham Berrow will become a Final Qualifying venue for the first time in the clubs history in 2023.
