Leicester v Aston Villa: Defender urges Villa to remember their bread and butter

Villa must focus on set-pieces against Leicester, says Hause

Defender Ezri Konsa has urged Aston Villa to remember their 'bread and butter' when they take on Leicester City on Saturday, live on Sky Sports Premier League. Villa have scored 40 per cent of their Premier League goals this season from set-pieces - only Liverpool (42 per cent) and Crystal Palace (43 per cent) have a higher ratio. And ahead of Villa's trip to the King Power Stadium, Konsa has called on his team-mates to continue to make the most of their strengths.

"Set-pieces are a big part of our game," he said. "We work on them a lot in training and we've got some very good players who can deliver the ball into dangerous areas.

"We've shown this season that we can be a threat from set-pieces, so it's important that we continue to focus on them."

Villa will be looking to bounce back from their 2-0 defeat to Arsenal last weekend, while Leicester will be hoping to build on their 2-0 win over Brentford. The match is evenly poised, with both teams level on points in the Premier League table. But Konsa believes that Villa can come out on top if they stick to their game plan.

"We know that Leicester are a good side, but we're confident that we can get a result if we play to our strengths," he said. "We're a team that likes to play on the front foot and create chances, so we'll be looking to do that against Leicester."

"It's going to be a tough game, but we're up for the challenge."
